This is a review for RE:P Nutrinature Ultra Moist Gel Oil (1.01 Fl Oz / 30 ml) – 100% Vegan, Cruelty-free, Paraben Free – Moisturizing, Lightweight Gel-Type Face Oil with Argan and Jojoba Oils, Shea Butter and Cupuacu Butter, at time of review this bottle is $28. I’ve only been using it for a few days, so here are initial observations. This stuff smells amazing- like spicey Ginger to me- but it sadly disappears quickly (IMO). Once the scent is gone there’s nothing to speak of. The gel oil spreads easily and feels cool on the skin -very refreshing. It has been maintaning a good level of moisture for my skin that can be felt a good portion of the day without feeling heavy or oily at all. As far as initial impressions this has been one of my favorite beauty products recently. I can’t speak to long term use but I will continue using.
Robasso –
This product has the consistency of aloe vera. The “gel” part of the name is much more descriptive than the “oil” part, which is great with me.
THE AWESOME: –The scent is fantastic, very botanical, with the strongest element being citrus. –I have a small problem spot that becomes extremely dry easily. I noticed an immediate moisturizing effect after application; the spot almost disappeared, and the effect lasted much of the day.
THE GOOD: –At first I thought it was a bit sticky after applying, but after a kind of second stage of absorbing, there was no residue of any kind, just smooth. –I noticed a nice-looking plumping effect. –Lots of plant-based extracts and other natural ingredients. (But there are a couple of “what’s that?” ingredients too.)
THE HMMM: –I had to pump the dispenser so many times to prime it that I thought the cheap plastic was going to break. It’s probably durable enough to last until the product is gone.
CONCLUSION: The container is iffy, but the product itself is great!
